We've heard so much about it. Motorcyclists travel from all over the country for this stretch of highway 129 in Tennessee. Unfortunately, many have lost their lives on this treacherous route. Eleven miles and 318 turns! This past Saturday, Sharon and I successfully took on the dragon.

Knoxville is close to an endless assortment of exhilarating motorcycle rides.

I remember asking John Brown about his favorite rides so far on his "Four Corners Tour." He mentioned upper Michigan as one of his favorite memories. He also spoke of the ride from Yellowstone to Cody, Wyoming.

At breakfast in Blowing Rock, North Carolina last week, we met a Lutheran Senior Pastor from Minnesota, Daniel Nordin, who is an avid motorcyclist. He told us of his multiple trips to the Blue Ridge Parkway. When I asked him about his all-time favorite trip, he did not hesitate to speak of his four motorcycle trips to the Canadian Rockies - starting from Glacier to Banff, up to Jasper and returning to Vancouver, British Columbia. He indicated that this route surpasses anything in the United States. Having recently seen Banff for the first time, I can relate to his testimony.
